‘No matter how dark the night is, the morning is sure to follow‘- Revd Funke Felix-Adejumo
Negative situations are not supposed to last forever, they have a life span of ‘a while’ according to 1 Peter 5:10 which says, ‘But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you‘-King James Version.
The Message translation says ‘So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does.’
The dark and cloudy seasons of life are bound to occur but they are not permitted to last longer than ‘a while.’ Now, that is absolutely relative. According to Bishop David Oyedepo, ‘a while’ could be some days, weeks, months or even years; it all depends on you because God never ordained for it to last forever.
You should have had enough of crying yourself to sleep, all the pity-partying…common, get back up again. You are not meant to be jobless, childless, broke, sick, ——————– (fill in the gap) forever.
It’s time to get a firm grip on the faith and go forward. Say hello to your bright days because the dark nights are now over. It’s time to turn your test into a testimony; really can’t wait to hear yours!
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
