Dear Redeemed of the Lord,

Welcome to the last working week in August, we’re talking about Angelic help today. Believe it or not, angels are real, and so are their interventions.

If you haven’t experienced angelic help before, it’s most likely because you don’t believe they exist or you don’t believe in their ministry. Hebrews 1:14 speaks about angels as well as their assignments, the Good News Translation states, “What are the angels, then? They are spirits who serve God and are sent by him to help those who are to receive salvation.” This means, as long as you have received salvation, God has assigned angels to serve you.

Acts 5:17  has the account of Peter and other apostles who were locked up in prison by the high priest and his associates. In verse 19, the angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and released them such that by the time the high priest called for them the following day, they were no longer in the prison.

In the Old Testament, an example is seen in Exodus 23:20, when God told the Israelites, “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”

There’s a place God has prepared for you, but you cannot go in your strength. You need guidance, protection, and you need it prepared prior to your arrival.

As you go on in this new working week, may the angels of God go ahead of you to bring you to the place He has prepared for you in Jesus name.
