Hello Amazing Reader,

Welcome to a beautiful new week. You’ll rejoice and be glad all through the week in Jesus name.

Recently, in my family devotion, we read from Philippians 4 and the lessons have been ringing in my heart since then.

Apostle Paul, while addressing the Church in Philippi encouraged them to do those things that they had learned, received, heard, and seen him do.

Philippians 4:9 (KJV), “Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”

I think this was an audacious statement to make. It must mean that Paul was conscious of his assignment, and he knew he had to live up to God’s expectation of being a godly example to the flock.

Whether we like it or not, we are being watched by believers and unbelievers alike. What do they see in us? What about our children, relatives, spouses. Do they see you as one whose lifestyle is worth emulating? Or are you asking them to only do as you say, not as you do?

There are several young ones today that have decided not to become believers because of the negative example they saw in another person. May we never be an impediment to another person’s salvation in Jesus name, Amen.

As we go on in this new week, may the Holy Spirit help us live up to His standards, so that others may see Him in us and desire to serve our God in Jesus name, Amen.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
