Hello Amazing Reader,

Trust you are well, and the new week is off to a great start.

It’s the last week in Q1 2023 😊 Oh, you don’t say. That was fast.

I agree with you. Time has been speeding by so quickly. One is almost tempted to ask it to slow down, especially when certain goals for the period are yet to be achieved. This could also lead to a state of worry and apprehension.

In our last review post, we reviewed the movie, 30 pieces by Mount Zion movies. You should read it here if you haven’t. In addition to the lessons shared in the review, another action point I picked from the movie is to refuse to give in to worry. The major character often told his wife about God’s care for the birds. He would say to her, “Look up at the birds. If God takes care of them, He will definitely take care of us.” I have always known this scripture, but literally looking up at the birds for a reminder isn’t something I have ever done.

Matthew 6:26 (NLT), “Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?”

There are and will be issues that might attempt to get you agitated and worried. But look up!  Really, pause reading this and look up at the birds. As you do, remind yourself that you are much more valuable to your heavenly Father than they are. Because He cares for them, He will take greater care of you.

Dear Father, I lay all my worries at your feet. Thank you for taking care of me.

Have a thoroughly blessed rest of the month.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
