Something Happens – Kurt Carr

I hope the new month has started on a very good note for you all.

Did somebody say Throwback Thursday? We are taking it back for today’s review, to 2005. This was one of the songs I started university with. Such a powerful song. Yes, indeed, something happens because at the mention of his name, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess (Phil 2:10-11).

This song was released in 2005 by Kurt Carr but the lyrics are potent to this day. The song describes the mighty name of Jesus and the awesomeness of its power. The song lists out different miraculous things that will happen at the mention of that thunderous name. The devil has no authority where the name of Jesus dwells.

The name of Jesus is to be reverenced. It is not an ordinary name that should be called in vain. The name of the Lord is a strong tower and just by that name, we are saved. Sing along with me and as you mention the name of Jesus, I join my faith with yours that whatever you are believing God for will come to fruition.
