The International Ministers Conference is an annual meeting for ministry leaders hosted by David Oyedepo Ministries. The 2023 edition of the conference, themed Next Levels, held from 9th-12th May 2023. In this review, we glean from Bishop Oyedepo’s message on day 3 of the conference.

In this message (beginning 1:31:17), Bishop Oyedepo speaks from a concerned position on the dangers of promoting another gospel – the false gospel of grace; a message which is becoming common place in the body of Christ. This false teaching, which gained grounds after COVID-19 promotes the concept that God is all loving, and there is no need for repentance because ‘grace’ covers all.

The Bishop laments that the situation has become so worrisome that it is difficult to tell a believer from an unbeliever because the line keeps getting thinner.

Personally, my key takeaways from this message are:

  • The ancient landmarks should not be removed. If Jesus and his apostles taught on repentance, it remains a valid teaching.
  • Once you remove the sin barrier, you are promoting another gospel.
  • Forgiveness is what grants us access to our inheritance in Christ.
  • God always has a remnant. No matter how popular certain things become, God’s standard will never change and He will always have people who will not compromise.

This link has three teaching sessions. It begins with Pst Faith Oyedepo’s sermon on Success in Family and Ministry. The second message is on Faithfulness by Pastor Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International, and Bishop David Oyedepo caps the session with the teaching on Redefining the Ministry of the Gospel. All three and the entire conference teachings will bless you. They are available here.

I think everyone needs to listen to this hard truth. It is not just for ministry leaders, but for everyone who has heaven as their goal. This message is an unpopular one, but it will help you assess your stand in God.

My prayer is that at the end of our journeys here, we hear God say to us individually, “Well done good and faithful servant.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
