Hello Amazing Reader, 

You were made for more!

This is no pep talk or motivational speech. It’s the reality of your identity as a child of God. 

Earlier this year, there was an unsettling within me by the Holy Spirit. I began to feel uncomfortable about where I was; I knew it was time for a change and began to pray about what I needed to do.

Imagine being in that state of mind and then hearing this song from the worship team at my church.  

Made for More spoke to my moment. As soon as I heard it on that wonderful Sunday morning, I knew it was a message from God to me. It was that personal. 

The chorus goes: 

Cause I wasn't made to be tending a grave 
I was called by name 
Born and raised back to life again 
I was made for more 
So why would I make a bed in my shame 
When a fountain of grace is running my way 
I know I am Yours 
And I was made for more 

I don’t know what point you are in your life but let this be a reminder from God to you that you were made for more. 

Please don’t settle for less. You don’t have to make a bed in your shame. You can rise from the ashes into the glorious future that God has for you. 

For someone who thinks they have it all together and can’t imagine life being any better than what they currently have, there’s still more for you in God. 

If you are a child of God, know this like you know your name — there is more for you in God. 

This song is a wonderful reminder of what Jesus’ death and resurrection offers us when we receive Him as our Lord and personal Saviour. 

As we celebrate the Easter season in the coming days, rejoice in the truth that God has made you for more. 

I encourage you to listen to this song as many times as you have to until this becomes your reality.
