Hello Amazing Reader,
Trust you had a great and restful weekend.
Mine was wonderful, thank you for asking 😊. One of the major highlights of my weekend was participating in the 1nebody book club community.
For the benefit of those who are new to this platform, we have a global community of members who meet every two weeks to review resources and discuss our learnings. If you’re already aware of this, this is your reminder to join us for our next meeting on Saturday, May 10, at 7 p.m. (WAT).
In our last meeting, we reviewed the book, Following God’s Plan for Your Life, by Kenneth E. Hagin. One of our biggest lessons was that God’s plan for us is available in His word.Â
As believers, we often consume ourselves with a desire to know God’s plan for our lives. We think it’s something grand and outside the regular. Well, sometimes it is. But we also tend to overlook the fact that God’s plan for us is in His Word. Yes, in the Bible. All of God’s instructions that we see in the Bible are part of His plans for our lives.
This includes the instructions to love the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind; Matt 22:37, love your neighbour as yourself; Gal 5:14, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Prov 3:5-6. These are only a few examples of God’s plan for your life.
We also learned that instead of searching for bigger plans and waiting on God to reveal specifics to us, we can begin by obeying what God has instructed in His Word.
Kenneth Hagin emphasized that until we obey the previous instructions from God, we are not due for the next.
Perhaps, you haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life, this is where you must begin. You may be familiar with the word of God, but you don’t have the capacity to obey the instructions in it until you accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour.
If this applies to you, please say this prayer:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned, please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen
Congratulations, you are now saved! If you’d like to receive additional information about your new faith, and how you can maximize your new life, please reach out to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com. We’d be excited to help.
Also, if you’d like to join our book club community, please type in “book club” in the comment section and we’d reach out to you with additional information.
As you go on in this new week, please remember that God’s plan for you is in His word. By being obedient to His word, you are fulfilling His plan for your life. As you keep obeying His word, He reveals more of His plans to you.Â
Have a blessed new week, fulfilling God’s plan for your life!Â
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
