Mine has been great 😊 , thank you for asking. I’ve been catching up on the recently concluded World Faith Believers Convention (WOFBEC), hosted by The Covenant Nation.
I listened to this message by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, which he titled, Colonize Me.
You’re probably wondering what colonization has to do with this, but, drawing references to Nigeria’s colonial era and independence, he taught on the importance of believers having their lives colonized by Jesus in three major areas:
- Colonized tongue- A tongue that only speaks good things
- Colonized appearance-Wearing Jesus as a “dress,” so that even our appearance reflects Christ
- Colonized for greater works- Just as Jesus commanded us
In simple language, laced with lots of humour, he delivered this powerful message and closed it out by proclaiming a father’s blessing on the congregation.
He also asked us to pray as follows, “Father, colonize me, and keep me colonized. If I ask for independence, please do not grant it.”
I strongly recommend that you watch this message, receive the father’s blessing, and let this prayer be part of your daily prayers.
May your life be fully colonized by Jesus.
