Hello Amazing Reader,

Happy Holy Week!

In our last post, we discussed the importance of the Holy Week and why it is fundamental to the Christian faith. Please catch up on the post, if you missed it.

As we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in this Easter season, have you considered its implications in your life?

In this episode of Seasons Podcast, our guest, Joshua Makanjuola, emphasizes that there is more to Easter than the holiday. Easter reminds us about the selfless love which God showed to humanity by sending his Son, Jesus to die for us while we were still sinners.

One of the scriptures he references is Romans 5:6-8, which states,

“While we were still helpless [powerless to provide for our salvation], at the right time Christ died [as a substitute] for the ungodly. Now it is an extraordinary thing for one to willingly give his life even for an upright man, though perhaps for a good man [one who is noble and selfless and worthy] someone might even dare to die. But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:6-8 (aMP)

Joshua encourages listeners to reflect on the love of God to mankind throughout this Easter season. Beyond that, he admonishes us to make it a point of duty to live out the benefits of redemption in our daily lives.

Whether you are a long-time believer, a new believer or one who is trying to decide to follow Christ, please listen to this podcast

If you’d also like to share God’s word with someone in this season, but you are not quite sure how to, how about you share this link with them? It’ll bless them tremendously.

Have a blessed Easter celebration and remember that Jesus is alive! Because He lives, you live also.

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
