Hello Amazing Reader,

Happy Thursday!

Have you heard of that before? I had someone greet me that way, and I thought, “Of course, every day is a gift from God, so yes, it should be a happy day 😊. ”

You probably know the Biblical story of the widow and the jar of oil. The one who met Prophet Elisha because her sons were about to be taken from her. Turns out that her late husband (who was a spiritual son to Elisha) had listed his sons as collateral for the debt he borrowed before he passed away. This story is in 2 Kings 4:1-7. But, it wasn’t just a tale, it actually happened. And this is what the movie, The Jar is about.

It plays out the widow’s experience – mourning, despair, fear, faith, and eventually, abundance.

This movie helps us to better understand and appreciate this woman’s demonstration of faith. How could a little jar of oil which she had left be the key to her breakthrough?

It’s a beautiful reminder that God cares for His children. He never leaves us empty. Although, it takes a heightened spiritual awareness to identify what we have because most of the time, they are things we have overlooked.

I encourage you to watch this movie. It’s about 42 mins, and a great family watch too; you could see it with your spouse and children. There are tons of lessons for everyone.

Big congratulations to Moromoluwatiketike Abolaji on her first movie! Greater grace, and greater heights for you, in Jesus name.

Have a blessed weekend ahead, and remember that God has put something in your hands. Maximize it!

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
