In the words of Bishop David Oyedepo, ” there is no old time truth.” Meaning every instruction of the scriptures is still as valid today as it was when the Bible was written\u00a0thousands of\u00a0years ago.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
As such, Hebrews 13:4 which says, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge<\/em>…” is still an instruction for the today’s believer.\u00a0 1nebody\u00a0had a chat with an unashamed Jesus lover and purposeful youth who\u00a0talks about his choice to stand for God in spite of societal expectations.\u00a0Excerpts below:<\/div>\n

1nebody<\/strong>: Could you give a brief introduction of yourself?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
D4J:<\/strong> My name is Dozie Ezemma.\u00a0 I am a 27 year old man that loves Jesus.\u00a0 I played in the NFL. I am a model, minister, and I am currently a Chemist working in a Lab.\u00a0 Oh yea, I am also a virgin.<\/div>\n

1nebody<\/strong>:\u00a0(Laughs) What a wonderful introduction and one of a kind too.<\/div>\n

D4J<\/strong>: Well, I am proud of my identity.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1nebody:<\/strong>\u00a0 Awesome. You’re also known as ‘Dozie4J’, how did the name come about?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
D4J<\/strong>: The name\u00a0 came about when I was making my instagram name. I knew I had to honor God in some way with my name. Dozie is my name and ‘4 J’ is short for, “for Jesus.”<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1nebody<\/strong>: Amazing.\u00a0 At what point in your life did you decide to take a stand for Christ?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
D4J<\/strong>:\u00a0 I took this decision when I was 18 years old, that was when I got saved.\u00a0Anything before that time was strictly Jesus bothering me, until I paid attention.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1nebody<\/strong>: What got you to pay attention. Was it personal decision, parental influence?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
D4J<\/strong>: You see, for me, I did a lot of partying in high school.\u00a0 I had friends from all backgrounds, gangs to advanced classes. However, my main group of friends were headed places but loved to party.\u00a0 Even though we partied a lot, I was limited to what I could do with women period.\u00a0 This had nothing to do with parents and all to do with Jesus.\u00a0 I could not physically bring myself to dance with women a certain way or go to a girls place one on one.\u00a0 At the time I rationalized it as just wrong and not making sense in my head.\u00a0 I did not understand that it was Jesus, but even if\u00a0I tried I could not physically go through the actions.\u00a0 I have come to realize it was all Jesus.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1nebody<\/strong>: You are a model, minister, chemist, relationship counsellor. How do you juggle all these?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
D4J<\/strong>: I always keep moving. Somethings are seasonal and I make sure to pay attention to which is more important to Christ at the time, without letting go of the other blessings. The relationship counselor was birthed from obedience to Christ. I made a pact with Jesus to do my best to post on Wednesday for ministry.\u00a0 The ministry took a turn toward relationships on its own.\u00a0 I actually tried to avoid that direction, but God had the last answer.<\/div>\n

1nebody<\/strong>:\u00a0 Heard you describe yourself in a video as being single, saved and secure. Beautiful combination but how can one be all three?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
D4J<\/strong>: In order to be all three: Single, Saved, and Secure you must learn who you are in Christ.\u00a0 You can be single on your own but secure and saved comes from knowing your purpose in Christ.\u00a0 Once you have a direction in Christ and are working toward your purpose it builds a security in Christ (Mathew\u00a06:33<\/span><\/span><\/strong>) and fuels your salvation.\u00a0 Working toward your purpose defeats insecurity, sin, and single life. Your gifts will make a way for you, so working toward your purpose will bring your spouse.<\/div>\n

1nebody<\/strong>: Wow!! That was such a profound response. No wonder you’re a relationship counsellor. So how did it really begin?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
D4J<\/strong>:\u00a0 (Laughs) Well,\u00a0 I actually did not want anything to do with relationship things.\u00a0 The Lord led me in that direction.\u00a0 It all started from learning from other peoples mistakes, complete wisdom from the Lord, and some of my personal experiences.\u00a0 I learned a lot from other peoples experiences and stories.<\/div>\n

1nebody<\/strong>: Great, that way you don’t have to make the same mistakes.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
D4J<\/strong>: That’s right.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1nebody<\/strong>: According to 1 Corinthians 12, the body of Christ\u00a0is one but has\u00a0many parts. What part of His body would you relate your ministry as a relationship counsellor?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
D4J<\/strong>:\u00a0I would say, the arm.\u00a0 Due to the fact that the arm has muscles and also can give and take away.\u00a0 My ministry resembles the true strength of men and the wisdom to make decisions to progress or walk away.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1nebody<\/strong>: Awesome analogy. Sounded more like the NFL player side of you right there (laughs).
