I once heard the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye (Daddy G.O) say when a man helps you, he can at best bring you up to where he is (which is rare). An average human will only help you in such a way that you won\u2019t be a threat in the nearest future. But when God helps you, He helps you marvelously. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In today\u2019s meditation, we\u2019re examining one of the keys to\nenjoying God\u2019s help; the key of contentment. Contentment according to the scriptures is\nrefusing to compare oneself with another; it is appreciating God for where He\nhas brought you, while trusting Him to yet lift you higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hebrews 13:5-6<\/strong> (TPT) states, \u201cDon\u2019t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have, for you always have God\u2019s presence. For hasn\u2019t he promised you, \u201c I will never leave you alone, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life! So we can say with great confidence: \u201cI know the Lord is for me and I will never be afraid of what people may do to me<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n By being contented, you attract God\u2019s presence and as long as you stay contented, you are sure of His abiding presence at all times.
