So, what are your Word stones?<\/p>\n\n\n\nThink of this as the stones in\nthe hands of David, which he carefully selected for the purpose of bringing\ndown Goliath. 1 Sam 17: 40<\/strong> states, \u201cThen he took his staff in his hand, chose\nfive smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd\u2019s bag\nand, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine.<\/em>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nNote that he immediately followed up that action by speaking the word against Goliath. That\u2019s a lesson- it\u2019s not enough to identify the scriptures that address your situation, but you must keep speaking against your \u2018Goliath\u2019 until it\u2019s eventually brought down. We also see this play out in David\u2019s encounter with Goliath, captured in verses 45-49<\/strong>. \u201cDavid said to the Philistine, \u201cYou come against me with sword and spear and javelin,\u00a0but I come against you in the name\u00a0of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.\u00a0This day the\u00a0Lord\u00a0will deliver\u00a0you into my hands, and I\u2019ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses\u00a0of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world\u00a0will know that there is a God in Israel.\u00a0All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword\u00a0or spear that the\u00a0Lord\u00a0saves;\u00a0for the battle\u00a0is the\u00a0Lord\u2019s, and he will give all of you into our hands.\u201d As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him.\u00a0Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nIn summary, to overcome your ‘Goliath,’ carefully select your word stones, guard them in your heart, keep speaking out against your ‘Goliath,’ consistently launch your word armory over and over until your Goliath is destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
