Hello beautiful people, I\u2019m glad you made it into 2021 and it\u2019s my pleasure to write you through this esteemed blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today\nwe\u2019ll be talking about visions and timings considering the year is young and\nthe vision for the year is still fresh. Just before we jump right into it,\nvision as described in this piece refers to what comes from God and not\nnecessarily what we concoct or formulate in our minds or what we have on our\nvision boards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our\nreference text here is quite instructive. It tells us that God, the one who\ngives visions has set an appointed time for its manifestation. In fact, looking\nat the full verse in Habakkuk 2 v 3<\/strong>\nit says, \u201cFor the vision is yet for an\nappointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it\ntarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry<\/em>\u201d.\n(NKJV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n More\noften than not, visions from God as regards His purpose for lives look very\nwonderful as in the case of Abraham the patriarch (Genesis 12:1-3<\/strong>). It makes us want to escape the present into the\nfuture that has been prepared for us. Remember that God\u2019s plans for us are\nalways good right? (Jeremiah 29:11<\/strong>)\nand that is why the future becomes very enticing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However,\nwe need to develop the virtue of patience<\/strong>\nif we must ever actualize the glorious future that awaits us. Reason being that\nthe vision is for an appointed time that we both do not know about. Only God is\nprivy to that information. It\u2019s only at the appointed time that the vision\nwould speak (manifest).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Remember\nMoses who had an idea of God\u2019s plan for his life and didn\u2019t want to wait it\nout? He ended up setting things back 40 years. Though it tarries, <\/strong>we have to wait. In Hebrews 6 v 12<\/strong> the Bible tells us we should in addition add the\nvirtues of Faith and Diligence to our patience. Only then would we ever get to\nthat glorious destiny God has prepared for every one of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lastly,\nit\u2019s important to remember that God has made everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11<\/strong>).
