It\u2019s a beautiful new week that the Lord has made. Joy and rejoicing is your testimony all through the week in Jesus name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Today, we\u2019re gleaning from 1Sam 2:3<\/strong>. It states, \u201cTalk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.\u201d <\/em>(KJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n This was part of Hannah\u2019s thanksgiving prayer after God had\nblessed her with her long desired prayer for the fruit of the womb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The latter part of the verse says God is a God of knowledge,\nand by him actions are weighed. That is, when we pray, it\u2019s not only the lines\nof our prayers God hears; He also \u2018hears\u2019 our motives. Why are we asking Him\nfor that new job, promotion, fruit of the womb, healing, etc. Is it for our\nselfish gain or that His name be glorified?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hannah probably made this statement realizing that she had been asking for a child with the wrong motive the whole time. But, as soon as there was a change in her motive, she had her prayers answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Remember, God is a prayer-answering God, not a\nprayer-storing God. Perhaps, there are lingering requests for which you are\nbelieving for His intervention; it\u2019s worth examining your motives to be sure\nthey align with His will, and they ultimately will bring glory to His name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once again, have yourself the most beautiful week yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God\u2019s blessings always<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello Amazing One, It\u2019s a beautiful new week that the Lord has made.
