One of my pastors usually says, \u201cGod is a God of in spite, not a God of because<\/em>.\u201d That is, God will\nnot come through for you because of your efforts. Rather, in spite of your shortcomings,\nHe will cause you to testify, so that it is evident to everyone including\nyourself that your blessings came by the hand of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Often times, we are quick to allude our successes to ourselves, our networks, degrees, eloquence, and so on. Meanwhile, all we have to our advantage is because of God\u2019s grace upon our lives. Even when we think our righteousness paved way for the blessings we enjoy, it is still the grace of God that helps us live up to His expectations of us. Philippians 2:13<\/strong> states, \u201cFor it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of\u00a0his\u00a0good pleasure.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n As we experience God\u2019s blessings upon our lives this year,\nlet\u2019s remember to allude all the glory to Him. Let\u2019s be quick to mention to\nothers that it is God at work.
