Exploring Glowreeyah Braimah\u2019s latest song,\nwe are reminded of the importance and the frequency at which we bless the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As believers our praise and adoration of\nGod should not be limited to external circumstances. We bless the Lord in all\nseasons and for all reasons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This Spirit-curated song is possibly inspired by the scriptures in Psalms 103 v 1 which says to \u201cBless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.<\/em>\u201d I like that the scripture and by extension this song. It reminds us of what part of our being we use in blessing God \u2013 Our soul. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s important to note that if you\u2019re going to abide by the dictates of this song to bless the Lord for all reasons and in all seasons, it has to originate from the soul i.e. it must be deep-seated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As believers our decision to bless God must never be tied to the fulfilment of desires as we see so often these days. More and more believers are becoming transactional of their choosing to \u2018bless God.\u2019 They wait for things to be rosy or sunny-side-up before blessing God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Blessing God is a commandment which is not subject to our feelings. It shouldn\u2019t matter the reason or what season of life we find ourselves in per time. God\u2019s expectation of us is to keep blessing Him at all times like the 24 elders do in heaven (Revelation 4:10-11).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I find very encouraging, the latter part of the chorus that says, \u201cOur God is greater than seasons, I will bless the Lord<\/em>.\u201d  It gives the believer the reassurance that regardless of the season of life, the trial, the affliction etc., as long as we keep blessing God through \u2013 we experience His mighty power that eventually pulls us through the storm and the fire unscathed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do not wait for that reason (new job, car,\nhouse, visa, spouse, sound health etc.) before choosing to bless the Lord.\nBless the Lord right now! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also remember that God is greater than\nwhatever season of life you are going through so keep on blessing Him through\nit and watch how He delivers you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
