Hello,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good to have you with us again today. It is the end of another month and the beginning of the next half of the year. I pray that these latter months will be greater than the former in all areas of our lives, in Jesus name, Amen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ok, so, I have picked this song<\/a> written by Brooke Fraser & Jill McCloghry<\/strong> because I think it is a prayer that we all should pray as we enter the next half of the year. This used to be one of my favourite songs some few years back but then new songs came, you know the rest. Then the sermon in my church last Sunday was built around this song and I was reminded why the song is so powerful. So, I will just put the lyrics of the song here and let us read it as a prayer and be reminded that whatever season the next half of the year brings to us, we know he is still God and that is reason enough for us to celebrate. We will stand on God’s promises and we will rejoice because he is with us always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is my prayer in the desert
When all that’s within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flame<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God is my victory and He is here<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on its way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I’ll stand<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of my life in every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

And this is my prayer in the harvest
When favour and providence flow
I know I’m filled to be emptied again
The seed I’ve received I will sow<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such a powerful song! A reminder for those in the harvest season to pour out, give back, and share the blessings God has given to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P.S I am adding the back story<\/a> of the song and I hope it blesses someone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
