In this post, I share my key takeaways from Chapters 1-12, which we have read so far. Please come along. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s been a long-standing debate on whether leaders are\nborn or made. In this book, Dr Munroe puts the subject of leadership in clearer\nperspective. He states that everyone born in the image and likeness of God is\nborn to lead, but becoming a leader is learned. Interestingly, you could be\noccupying a leadership position, yet know nothing about leadership. Here are\nsome leadership nuggets you could apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We are not all the same, but we are all leaders\nin our own unique ways.<\/li><li>There is a leader in everyone waiting to be\nreleased.<\/li><li>There are two ways to discover the leadership purpose\nthat God put inside you- 1) learn it 2)experience it<\/li><li>In the words of John Quincy, the sixth President\nof America, \u201cIf your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more\nand become more, you are a leader.\u201d <\/li><li>The greatest and most important aspect of\nleadership is inspiration.<\/li><li>True leaders make themselves increasingly\nunnecessary.<\/li><li>We are leaders to the extent that we can inspire\nothers to join us in fulfilling our vision.<\/li><li>To become an effective leader, you must earn the\ntrust of others.<\/li><li>Leadership values the unique styles and skills\nof each person who contributes to the whole.<\/li><li>The highest form of government is self-government.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p> As with any resource from Myles Munroe, this book is insightful and practical. It\u2019d be great to have you join our next <a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/j\/83064988774\">book club meeting<\/a> on 30<sup>th<\/sup> July 2022. It commences at 7 pm (WAT).
