Happy new week. Trust you had a great weekend like we did?\nIt was a book club weekend, and our sessions are always phenomenal. We enjoy\nthe palpable presence of God and share insights from the resources we\u2019ve read\nor watched. You\u2019re more than welcome to join our next meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you found yourself in a situation where you said something\nto someone and as the words left your mouth, you realized it should have been\nbetter expressed? It may have been the tone or the delivery, but at that point\nit\u2019s late and you\u2019re left wondering how you could salvage the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For someone else, you may find yourself constantly telling\nlies. Most times, you\u2019ve told a lie before you realize. It\u2019s almost become your\ndefault language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As children of God, God expects us to excel in our speech as well as other areas of life. There are several scriptures that guide us on using the tongue in honour of God. One of these is Psalm 141:3<\/strong>, <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSet a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.\u201d<\/em><\/p>King james version<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Thankfully, we can engage the word of God proactively.
