It’s about two months to Christmas.\ud83c\udf84\ud83c\udf84 What have you got planned? Do you have it all figured out or you are yet to give it a thought?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Something interesting has been happening to me lately. Come along, as I share with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A particular issue bothered me some months ago and after\ntrying to help myself, I finally resorted to handing it over to God. In helping\nmyself, I was praying and at the same time trying to answer my prayer (lol, as\nif that was possible). Eventually, I left\nit all to God, trusting Him to sort me out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recently, it occurred to me that God had answered my prayer.\nIn fact, it took the Holy Spirit to remind me that my answer had been answered,\nand it left me in awe of God\u2019s faithfulness all over again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I decided to apply the same strategy to yet another issue.\nThrough a simple, heartfelt prayer, I told God my desire and left it with Him.\nWithin hours, I had my testimony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, it got me thinking, this must be what God means when He says to cast our cares upon Him; 1 Peter 5:7<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n God genuinely cares for us, and has our best interest at heart. However, when we pray sometimes we expect the answer in a particular way. When we look in that direction and there is no answer in sight, worry and apprehension set in. Remember, God already says His ways are not our ways, neither are His thoughts our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I challenge you today to leave your desire(s) with Him.
