Happy weekend! I hope you are having a restful weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, building on this week\u2019s #MeditationMonday <\/a>message on planting, this is the time of the year when a lot of bible-believing churches fast and pray to seek God\u2019s directions and plans for the year. Q1 is usually the best period to set things in motion for God\u2019s power. I am not saying we shouldn\u2019t fast and pray for the remaining quarters of the year; neither am I saying that God only moves in Q1. But it is good to be intentional about receiving a harvest before the end of 2024, and this is the season to intensify our planting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So, if your church isn\u2019t conducting one for the year, I urge you to join a bible-believing church this month and next in fasting and praying for the new year. Or you could do it on your own as well. There are a lot of churches doing 21 days of fasting and prayer. I know Living Faith Church<\/a> is on its 14th day, and we are on the 15th\u00a0day in my church, Liberty Church London<\/a>. Additionally, The Redeemed Christian Church of God<\/a> is on a 50 days fast. Most churches also meet daily to worship and pray together to end the day\u2019s fast.
