Hello Amazing Reader, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last Christmas, my church had a candlelight feature for the Christmas Eve service. When it was time for this, all the lights in the auditorium were put out. After talking us through the safety lessons, the minister that led the session lit her candle. Then, some ushers lit their candles with the minister’s candle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With their lit candles, the ushers went from row to row to light the candles of those who sat by the aisle. These people in turn passed it to those who sat in their rows and around them. Within a few minutes, everyone\u2019s candles were lit. While I dwelt on the beautiful sight, my husband whispered to me, \u201cThat\u2019s the power of sharing. It only takes one person to have light. If we share the light we have, darkness will have no place.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
His statement cast my mind to the scripture in Matthew 5:14-16<\/strong> which states, <\/p>\n\n\n\n When we do our work of sharing the light as believers in Jesus Christ, we don\u2019t need to pray against darkness. It naturally fizzles out.\u00a0Can we be deliberate about shinning our lights this week. For you, it may mean performing your tasks in a uniquely different way, for another it may mean telling someone about Jesus, for yet another, it may mean responding differently when someone tries to get you upset.
