Have you experienced a situation where you prayed concerning something and it looked like the answer wasn\u2019t forthcoming? Maybe it was a prayer point for years, and the more you prayed, the farther the answer seemed. Eventually, you gave in because it seemed pointless continuing to pray. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Something similar happened to Elijah, but he didn\u2019t give up. In 1 Kings 18:41-44<\/strong>, he had prophesied to King Ahab by the Spirit of God that there would be rain in Samaria. While Ahab went to eat and drink (excited that rain was coming), Elijah went up to pray for the manifestation of this prophecy. As he prayed, he kept sending his servant to check if the clouds had begun to gather. The servant went and saw nothing. This happened seven times, and finally he saw a small\u00a0cloud (as small as a man\u2019s hand). Remember this was a small cloud, yet Elijah knew his prayer had been answered. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n I don\u2019t know how many times you\u2019ve prayed or believed God for that situation to change, but it\u2019s time to pray\u00a0again. Especially if you are praying based on God\u2019s word, or God had revealed something to you for which you desire its manifestation. You may not see the answers immediately, but go again. Or maybe it\u2019s a small cloud you see, don\u2019t be deceived by its size; abundance of rain is coming! And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, \u201cGo up now, look toward the sea.\u201d So he went up and looked, and said, \u201cThere is nothing.\u201d And seven times he said, \u201cGo again.\u201d Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, \u201cThere is a cloud, as small as a man\u2019s hand, rising out of the sea!\u201d So he said, \u201cGo up, say to Ahab, \u2018Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.<\/em> <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
