I was speaking with Dami a few days ago and she said something that stayed with me and I would like to address it today. She said and I quote \u201cmost of my answered prayers always come towards the end of the year.\u201d God has been faithful to me this year. Some goals have been achieved, prayers answered but some are still outstanding. Before my conversation with Dami, I had resolved, and in fact started confessing it by telling people that some of those outstanding goals are now for next year because they no longer look plausible for this year. I can remember at least 2 people that I told recently. So, again, what Dami said, most of her past testimonies have come towards the end of the year i.e. last quarter of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In John 2:4 NIV<\/strong>, Jesus was speaking at the wedding in Cana and he says;<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWoman, why do you involve me?\u201d Jesus replied. \u201cMy hour has not yet come.\u201d<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I even like the Contemporary English Version (CEV)<\/strong> more \u201cJesus replied, \u201cMother, my time hasn’t yet come! You must not tell me what to do.\u201d<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Lastly, the AMPC<\/strong> version \u201cJesus said to her, [Dear] woman, what is that to you and to Me? [What do we have in common? Leave it to Me.] My time (hour to act) has not yet come.\u201d<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I don\u2019t know who, like me, had concluded before now that those outstanding requests are as good as unanswered this year and it makes more sense to push the expectations for them to the next year. Jesus is speaking to you this evening; His hour has not yet come. His hour to act is not based off of the time of the year or when you think it should happen. His hour to act is perfect and is never late. Just as the master of the banquet said in this account of the wedding in Cana that the best wine had been saved for last, you will experience the best of 2024 in this last quarter. Jesus is still turning water to wine and the hour has come for God to be glorified in your life and through your story. It doesn\u2019t matter what the past months have been like, the time is now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou will arise and have compassion on Zion{Put Your Name}, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come\u201d<\/em> <\/mark>Psalm 102:13 NIV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFor he says, \u201cIn the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.\u201d I tell you, now is the time of God\u2019s favor, now is the day of salvation.\u201d<\/mark><\/em> 2 Corinthians 6:2 NIV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I want you to enjoy the rest of the year in this understanding.
