Hello, 1nebody,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Praise God, it\u2019s the last Thursday of May. Let\u2019s pause for a moment and return the glory to God! I am currently doing a 40-day program with a group of people from church, and the book we are using, on day 2, talks about how a system has been put in place by God to ensure that the earth and all creations are functioning as they should. So, I want you to thank God that the day broke when it should, it rained when it should, the sun set when it should, and your legs moved the way they should. These are things we don\u2019t even think about, but these are the many blessings God gifts us with daily. Thank you, Lord, for you have established all things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On review today is this song<\/a> by Lawrence Oyor that I heard for the first time last week. Jesu, my love sounds like a love to Jesus in my opinion. Jesu is Jesus in Yoruba, and the song is a song of commitment to Jesus; it is a vow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s a part of the song that goes, \u201cJesu, Jesu, my love, I want to wipe your tears.\u201d<\/em> I was confused at first when I heard that part and automatically assumed he meant Jesus will wipe my tears. But no, in-fact, the singer was talking about himself and his wish to wipe Jesus\u2019 tears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same way we get hurt when a loved one does something out of character is the same way we hurt Jesus when we wallow in sin and do not reflect His nature. So, I make the song<\/a> a prayer for everyone reading this: may you make Jesus proud and the work of your hands please God. May your heart for the things of God not go unnoticed, may the Lord enable you and empower you to do His will always, in Jesus name, Amen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
