Hello Amazing Reader, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trust your week is off to a great start. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s the last week in August. Can you believe it? \u00a0Thank God for His goodness and mercies!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Speaking about God\u2019s goodness, do you ever feel unworthy of it? In the past few weeks, I have been struggling with my personal devotion time. I\u2019ve found myself mostly rushing through it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was feeling bad and talking to God about it when He reminded me that He is good. He is not good to me because of what I do or don\u2019t do. He is good to me because it\u2019s His nature to be consistently good.\u00a0My heart melted. What a Father!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not to encourage spiritual laziness or lukewarmness, but a reminder that God\u2019s goodness to us is not earned by our righteousness; Is 64:6<\/strong>. It\u2019s His nature and He can\u2019t help but extend this goodness to us. \u00a0He is good in spite of us. Isn\u2019t this worth rejoicing and praising God about?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is<\/em> good! For His mercy endures<\/em> forever. <\/p>\nPs 136:1 (NKJV)<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Many times, we are looking to receive certain blessings before we appreciate God. But, God\u2019s goodness is a major praise point, worth thanking Him for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ps 150:2b instructs us to,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c...<\/strong>Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!\u201d\u00a0<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Praising God for His greatness, includes praising Him for His nature of goodness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you haven\u2019t made Jesus the Lord of your life, He\u2019s waiting to receive you. Because He is goodness personified, He doesn\u2019t want anyone to perish; 2 Peter 3:9.  He already loves you. He only wants you to accept that love and confess Him as your Lord. And today is a good day to make that decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please say this prayer if you want to begin a new life with Jesus:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.     <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
