Welcome to October once again. I hope the new month has been coming along well for you.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our last meditation post<\/a>, we learned about God\u2019s desire for a big family. Today,\u00a0we\u2019ll\u00a0be sharing some\u00a0of the practical ways through which we can introduce others into the family.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Prayer<\/strong>: Prayer is the foundational requirement for\u00a0talking to anyone about God\u2019s family. This is because soul winning is a spiritual exercise, and\u00a0there\u2019s\u00a0also a spiritual force that wants to keep people in unbelief. It takes the power of prayer to break off this blindfold.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    2 Cor 4:4,\u00a0\u201cThe god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot\u00a0see the light\u00a0of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.\u201d\u00a0<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
    2. Evangelism<\/strong>:\u00a0Jesus referred to this as the Great Commission. Every believer has been commissioned by Jesus as a witness to the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
    Matt 28:19 (NKJV), \u201cGo therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,\u201d\u00a0<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
    Soul winning isn\u2019t a gift God gave to only a few believers. It\u2019s a mandate to everyone who professes to be a child of God. Most times, we tend to hold back from witnessing because we don\u2019t know what to say, or how to start off the conversation. Sometimes, it\u2019s even fear of how we will be perceived by the recipient. But all these are Satan\u2019s ways of preventing us from sharing the good news. We don\u2019t have to be able to quote a particular number of scriptures or be a graduate of a Bible college. All we need is to make ourselves available to partner with God. Let Him know you\u2019d like to take up this assignment, but you don\u2019t know how to, and He\u2019ll give you the right words and actions. A little \u201chello\u201d, a smile, or \u201cJesus loves you\u201d could be the conversation starter. Start in faith, and you\u2019ll see God take over. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
    3. Give<\/strong>:\u00a0We see in the Bible that there were\u00a0men\u00a0& women\u00a0who devoted themselves to supporting Jesus\u2019 ministry.\u00a0There\u2019s\u00a0a particular mention of some women in Luke 8:1-3<\/strong> who took\u00a0up looking after Jesus as their\u00a0own\u00a0ministry. Verse 3 states, \u201cThese women were helping to support them out of their own means.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    While Jesus and His disciples went to different places preaching the gospel, these women helped them out of their means.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
    Did you know you can also support ministries and organizations that are dedicated to spreading the gospel?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    It\u2019s true that some false prophets and teachers have abused this. But there are still many genuine ministries across the world that promote the spread of the gospel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
    These are some ways through which you can introduce others to God\u2019s family.\u00a0Whether you choose to start off with one, or you want to explore all three (and more), would you ask God to help you become\u00a0a fruitful member of His family?\u00a0God wants more people in His family, and there are several across the world who are yet to become born again.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    I can\u2019t close this out without giving you an opportunity to become a member of God\u2019s family. Please, say this prayer: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
    Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus' name. Amen.  <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
