Happy second week of 2026\u00a0\ud83d\ude0a.\u00a0Is there a greeting like that? Lol, I just made it up as a way of wishing you God’s best for the second week of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I started reading the book of Romans a few weeks ago, and as I go through the chapters, I\u2019m reminded of why I love it so much. It\u2019s writer, Apostle Paul, does a fantastic job of educating the people in Rome (and by extension today\u2019s believer) about their identity in God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the verses that I\u2019ve been ruminating over is Romans 8:11<\/strong>, let\u2019s examine a few versions: <\/p>\n\n\n\n King James Bible<\/strong><\/a> Please can you take a few minutes to read through these translations to thoroughly understand it? <\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s saying, as a believer, the Spirit of God lives in you.<\/strong> The very one that raised Jesus from the grave after being dead and buried for three days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n If that\u2019s the case, it means the following (and more): <\/p>\n\n\n\n Examine this scripture carefully, and by the help of the Holy Spirit, determine what this means to you personally. I believe you’ll experience a total mind shift. Hallelujah! <\/p>\n\n\n\n This reality only applies to those who have made Jesus the Lord and Saviour of their lives. If you\u2019re yet to do so, I encourage you not to wait any longer. Divine life is real, and it can be your experience if you choose to surrender to Jesus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Please say this prayer with faith: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life.
