Hello Amazing Reader,
Trust your week has been great. Can you believe it’s only six weeks left in 2024. Praying that God crowns the year for us with His goodness and causes our paths to drop fatness, in Jesus name.
In our last Meditation post, I shared about forgiveness which was inspired by the movie, Stranded 3. Let’s dig deeper into the movie in this review.
Stranded is a three-part movie produced by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (The King’s Palace Drama) and Mount Zion Film Productions.
It tells the story of a Christian family that almost got divorced. The husband, Dave, got involved with a side chic and his wife, Jenny, found out. Out of anger, she made some irrational decisions that further escalated the situation. You can watch the details in part 2 and part 3.
Thank God for her Godly father who was visiting her at the time and kept reminding her about God’s plan for marriage. He was also giving her Godly counsel which she kept refusing to conform with.
Jenny’s friend, Sharon, also had a situation with her husband that had caused a separation.
Jenny and Sharon’s homes eventually got restored by the healing power of God.
In this three-part movie, three lessons stood out to me the most:
- No matter how long you have been married, you must continue to depend on God’s wisdom to keep your home. That is, if you are interested in having a godly home.
- God still heals and restores. There is restoration for anyone and everyone who returns to God, and believes for a change of story.
- Forgiving others is the key to receiving God’s forgiveness. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15.
Are you going through a situation where you are finding it hard to forgive? Or do you know someone who is? I strongly recommend watching this movie. If you are unable to watch from part 1, you can watch only part 3.
God bless the Redeemed Christian Church of God (The King’s Palace Drama) and Mount Zion Film Productions for this excellent production!
More wisdom, more grace, more anointing, in Jesus name.
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
