We are still celebrating the risen Christ. The one whose resurrection makes our Christian faith valid. It’s also a beautiful new April and the beginning of the second quarter of the year; may it be full of God’s glory for you and yours in Jesus name.

The climax of any negative human condition is death. It’s the reason palliative measures are taken to prevent the worst case scenario from happening. Luke 24 has an account of Jesus’ resurrection.  The women had taken the spices they had prepared to the tomb and on getting there, they did not find Jesus’ body. Instead they met two angels who announced to them that,  “He is not here; he has risen!” (Luke 24:6).

He did resurrect just like He said and because He lives, you live also. You have no business in any grave-like situation anymore. While it’s excellent to celebrate the risen Christ, we must also translate the significance of His resurrection to our daily lives. The grave could not hold Jesus bound, no grave can hold you captive any longer.

I also picked something new at Church yesterday about the resurrection power. After Jesus appeared to the disciples, “their eyes were opened and they recognized him”  ; Luke 24:30-31. It means veils are also removed by the resurrection power. So, expect any negative covering over your eyes to be removed in Jesus name.

Our Saviour lives forever…Hallelujah!!!

God’s blessings always,
Dammy
