Do you know the song? There is no mountain, we cannot move. When I say ‘we’, I mean Jesus and I. It’s quite an old song, but it’s a great reminder that you and God are a formidable team. With your faith in God, you can make things happen in your favour.

Ever faced a challenge that appears persistent, such that the more you pray, the more the challenge seems to rear its ugly head. While this may be the experience, it is only a ploy of the devil to make us think God has not answered our prayers.

The devil remains a trickster. Tricks are all he’s got. No iota of power whatsoever. So, even when God has heard and answered us, the devil tries to create scenes that would make us think and act otherwise. But, we must refuse to give in to his gimmicks. Instead, we should stand in faith regardless of whatever contrary situation; believing that God’s purpose will stand and those stubborn mountains have bowed and will remain subdued.

Mark 11:23-25 (The Passion Translation) states,

“Listen to the truth I speak to you: Whoever says to this mountain with great faith and does not doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea,’and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done. This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—be convinced that you have received it and it will be yours.”
