Hello, 1nebody,

It is good to be back. Happy New Month from me! I pray it will be your best month yet in Jesus name, Amen!

In February, I wrote about the invalid from John 5 and compared him with the blind man from John 9 sharing my learnings from both their approaches and responses to Jesus. I thought that was it. A few Sundays ago, my pastor used the invalid man’s account during his sermon and he said something that brought a new revelation.

“Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” – John 5:5-6

This man had tried severally to get into the pool where he knew he would get his healing but he never succeeded and for 38 years, he kept coming back. Isn’t that something. He wasn’t there for Jesus. He didn’t go there knowing Jesus would one day come to heal him, he just kept hoping and believing that one day, he would get into the pool at the right time but Jesus showed up and honoured his waiting.

My message to you today is simple, don’t give up! Keeping trusting God, continue to show up and Jesus who honoured this invalid man’s waiting will honour yours as well. I don’t know what it is you’ve been waiting and trusting God for, do not get discouraged or tired. Jesus will locate you and honour your waiting. If you don’t know Jesus or you’ve been disconnected from Him in a while, I urge you to make the decision to come to Him today, let Him carry your burden and give you rest in your body, mind and soul. If you are ready to surrender to His leadership, please say the prayer below out loud:

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned, please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.

Congratulations, heaven rejoices over you! If you said this prayer and would like additional information/guidance, please send an email to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com.

God bless,

Dasola
