Happy New Month, 1nebody! Welcome to the second half of 2025. I pray that the remaining part of this year will bring more blessings and breakthroughs than the first half, in Jesus’ name, Amen! We will experience God’s mighty move as a community and as individuals in these last 6 months of 2025 in Jesus’ name, Amen!
I was going through some of my notes, and I saw a prayer I had written from Psalm 125:1 – “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.” NIV. I kept repeating like Mount Zion, and then I googled Mount Zion to see what it looks like. It hit me that this mountain has withstood centuries of adverse weather, yet it remains, and this is what the Psalmist likened to those who trust God.
Do you see yourself as Mount Zion? Looking at the prayer I had written out from the verse, I told the Lord that my family and I will not be shaken up by worry and frustration to the extent that we lose sight of Him, but he will help us to continue to trust in Him no matter what. We will not be like the wave of the sea tossed around by the wind when we trust no one else but God. Our faith, values, goals, and identity will not be moved by people, culture, circumstances, or fear if we just stay connected to God.
If you are wondering how it is possible to trust God even in difficult situations, I can’t explain it either. All I know is you need to be connected to the source. The bible says in Zechariah 4:6, it is not by power or might, but by His Spirit. We can because God makes it possible, and He can do the same for you if only you will get to know Him. Therefore, I invite you to say the prayer below out loud and let God take it from there.
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Congratulations, heaven rejoices over you! If you said this prayer and would like additional information/guidance, please send an email to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com.
God bless,
Dasola
