Trust August has started for you on a great note?

Have you had to share a challenge with a person who couldn’t help? It’s frustrating, isn’t it? 

Thankfully, that’s not the same experience with God. We have a High Priest who understands our weaknesses and can help us; Heb 4:15. How wonderful is that!

That’s why He asks us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. 

Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].

1 PETER 5:7 (AMP)

i like how the Amplified version breaks down the word “cares” to include anxieties, worries, and concerns.

We are sometimes ‘careful’ about what we pass on to God. We want Him to help with the big, complicated stuff while we handle the small ones. If you’ve ever tried this, you’d realize that even the small issues require His help. Instead of losing sleep over situations and exhausting your options before finally going back to God, why don’t you make Him your first stop? 

He’s available to do all the lifting. Casting your cares and worries on Him shows Him that you trust Him with your life and you trust in His ability to see you through that situation, however big or small. 

If you haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life, that’s where to begin. You must trust Him with your life before anything else. If this applies to you, and you’d like to begin a new life with Him, please say this prayer:

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.
