Hello Amazing Reader,
Welcome to a wonderful, new week. I pray you experience God’s peace, grace, wisdom and all-round blessings this new week and beyond, in Jesus name.
In most parts of Canada, the third Monday of February (today) is celebrated as Family Day. A day for families to spend time together.
Did you know that the family is God’s idea? In Genesis 2, God created the first family with Adam and Eve, and through this family, many more families were born.
When God decided to have a fresh start after the flood, He did this by preserving Noah’s family (his wife, sons, and their spouses); Genesis 6-9. Again, through them, many more families emerged.
One of the ways God fulfils His purpose on earth is through godly families. This is why the devil is constantly fighting against this institution. When a family is not united in God, it is almost impossible for God to establish His plans through that family. No wonder cases of separations, divorces, emotional abuse, husbands (priests) not rightfully occupying their priestly roles, and all kinds of negative things are occurring in families. All these are part of the enemy’s plan to disrupt God’s plan for the family.
God’s intention is to be the God of all families. He wants every member of our family to know Him;from the least to the greatest.
At the same time,” says the Lord, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people… No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
Jeremiah 31:1, 34.
God cares for you and your family. Not just that, He loves you all and wants everyone saved. He wants you to partner with Him to work in your family. Perhaps you’ve been praying for the salvation of your loved ones for several years, and you’re beginning to feel weary. Please don’t be tired. God will restore them to Himself and soon too, in Jesus name.
If you are not saved, today is a good day to welcome Jesus into your heart. He wants you and every member of your household saved. Please say this prayer:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Congratulations, heaven rejoices over you! If you said this prayer and would like additional information/guidance, please send an email to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com.
As believers, we have an intercessory role to play. Beginning today, let’s commit to praying for the birth and sustenance of more Godly homes, and God will hear & answer us, in Jesus name. Here’s wishing all families a restful holiday, blessed with God’s presence.
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
