Hello Amazing Reader,
Happy last day of August. All glory to God for safely carrying us through another month!
As we step into the last four months of the year, there’s a tendency to slip into worry zone because certain things haven’t happened the way you imagined.
Although you have prayed, you have also mentally calculated the way God would answer your prayers . I have done that several times🙂 . We forget God is God. In fact, to remind us that His ways are not our ways, He’d often answer our prayers from an unexpected or least expected channel.
Instead of getting anxious about your expectations, here’s a scripture you can pray instead from Psalm 25:1-3 (NKJV).
To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.
Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed;
Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause
As you choose to trust God in this season, I pray you will not be ashamed, in Jesus name.
Perhaps you’re all good, and you have no concerns. Please pray for others who are looking to God for a way out. They could be your friends, family members, colleagues, church members, and so on. Pray that none of these precious people who trust in the Lord will be ashamed, in the name of Jesus.
If Jesus isn’t the Lord of your life, unfortunately, the above doesn’t apply to you. But, it can. Jesus wants you to become a member of His family and He wants you to trust Him as your Lord and Saviour. If you’d like to receive Jesus into your heart, please say this prayer with faith:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.
