After a few weeks of hiatus, we’re excited to welcome you back to another review post 🥁🥁.
We’re resuming with a song review, “Build Your Kingdom Here” by Rend Collective.
I first heard this song at my church about a year ago, and the beat immediately had me dancing. Then, I realized, it wasn’t just a danceable tune- the lyrics are very prophetic.
Listening in more attentively, I realized that it’s a prayer for revival.
When you sing this song, you’re praying for the church- the body of Christ all over the world, your local assembly, yourself as a member of the body of Christ, your nation, the list is endless.
The chorus states:
Build Your kingdom here
Let the darkness fear
Show Your mighty hand
Heal our streets and land
Set Your church on fire
Win this nation back
Change the atmosphere
Build Your kingdom here we pray
I encourage you to pray this song, believing every word, and trusting that the Kingdom of God will truly be established in all the people, institutions, and places you’re interceding for.
Can you imagine how wonderful it will be when we begin to live in these answers? A global church on fire, a nation that honors God, healing flowing across our streets and land. Wouldn’t that be a glorious sight?
