The word of God is referred to as the more sure word of prophecy. That is, there is no source of prophecy comparable to the word of God. 2 Peter 1:19 states, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:”

In addition, the Bible states that Heaven and earth may pass away, but God’s word abides forever; Matt 24:35. Meaning, as long as your challenge is captured in the word of God and there is a prophetic word that addresses it, you are most certain of your deliverance. For instance, God’s word says, none shall be barren; Exodus 23:26. Holding on to this prophetic word means believing God above all else, including negative medical reports. It requires warring with this, and just as 2 Peter 1:19 states, taking heed to that word until it becomes light to you, such that the light eventually eradicates every form of darkness. Please note that it might not happen overnight, but the word of God is so credible that as long as you stay on it, you will definitely emerge victorious.

This however leaves the believer with some responsibility. What scriptures have you found pertaining that challenge you’re faced with?
