Hello Amazing Reader,
Welcome to the beautiful month of June!
May the month deliver its benefits to you.
You will not lack any good thing.
All your heart desires are granted according to the will of God, in Jesus name.
Before you hit the ground running, have you taken some time to thank God for the gift of a new month? I once heard someone say they didn’t like to be wished a happy new month, because every month is just another day.
But is it just another day? Life is a gift to be thankful to God for. Every day we wake up on this side is a privilege and not a right.
Ps 68:19 (NKJV) states,
Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily loads us with benefits,
The God of our salvation! Selah
God doesn’t only give us the gift of a new day. He also loads each day with benefits. What a gracious God!
As we begin this month, rest assured God has gone ahead of you. He has filled all the 30 days of June with loads of benefits for you.
Being the last month in the first half, you may find yourself under the pressure of asking, “What have I achieved this year?”
Instead of focusing on what doesn’t seem to have happened yet, choose to be grateful to God for His many benefits towards you, and trust Him to lead you by His Spirit.
Is there anything wrong with wanting to reach your goals? Absolutely not. But it becomes a trap when you get consumed by it so much so that you forget to appreciate God for His gifts.
This month, choose intentional gratitude, as you daily acknowledge God’s mercies in your life.
If you haven’t accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, today is a great day to do so. You cannot be led by the Spirit of God, except you are His child.
Please say this prayer:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.

Real talk and thanks for the reminder as it’s so easy for us to sink into deep thoughts around goals not yet achieved while forgetting that living and breathing alone are gifts we should be thankful for.
