Tell Someone About Jesus

Hello Amazing Reader,

Welcome to the crowning week of October. May the Lord crown the month for you with His goodness and cause your paths to drop fatness, in Jesus name.

My church celebrated her 40th anniversary over the weekend, and it was a wonderful service. The highlight of the service for me was hearing the testimonies of individuals who got saved in the church, and through them, salvation entered their households.

One of the testifiers shared how he came in as a youth who knew nothing about God. But he was welcomed, taught about Jesus, gave his life to Christ and started growing in the faith. He met his wife, got married and now they are raising their family in the same church. Isn’t that a beautiful testimony!

His testimony and those of others reminded me of a statement I’ve often heard from the President of Living Faith Church worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo,  “When you tell a person about Jesus, you may never fully know the impact you’re making in their lives.”

Referencing his own testimony of salvation, he was led to Jesus through his secondary school teacher, Ms Betty Lasher. At the time, he was only 15 years old and neither of them knew that he’d become a global minister of the Gospel. Can you imagine the exponential effect of Ms Betty’s obedience? Not only did Bishop Oyedepo’s family members become believers in Jesus, millions of people across the world have also come to know Jesus through his ministry.

In Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV), Jesus instructs every believer to go and make disciples of all the nations.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Have you received Jesus as the Lord of your life? Just like the testimonies you’ve just read, you can be the one that introduces your household to Jesus. You can make this decision today by praying this in faith:

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.

Congratulations, you are now a member of God’s big family! If you said this prayer and would like additional information/guidance, please send an email to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com.

Once again, have a wonderful crowning week of October and remember to tell someone about Jesus this week!

God’s blessings always,

Dammy
