The Key to the Supernatural – Kenneth W. Hagin

Hello 1nebody Family,

We are almost at the end of another week. All the glory to God for his never-ending love and faithfulness.

I’ll repeat what I said last Saturday when we reviewed this book at the 1nebody book club: this book is a must-read for every believer. I highly recommend it. That cannot be overemphasized. So, let’s get into the book.

The Key to the Supernatural was written by Kenneth W. Hagin, Kenneth E. Hagin’s son. It is a short read, just 30 pages long.

What is the key to the supernatural, you might ask? Unity and accord. Not what you were expecting, right? 😀Yes, I know! According to the author, the key to the last-day move of the supernatural power of God is found in those two words, unity and accord. Don’t worry, you read that right.

The book is so short that there are no chapters, only subthemes. The author used these subthemes to drive home the points of unity and accord, referencing the Book of Acts. Did you know that the theme in Acts actually centred on unity and accord? The author gave overwhelming examples of this, which you will find when you read the book. He also highlighted that the words were used interchangeably in the King James Version, and they mean ‘being one in spirit, purpose, aim, and so on.

I think the book is easy to understand, so I don’t want to overengineer it. In conclusion, the author’s premise is that the church must be united because the supernatural is experienced or revealed when this happens. God’s power is most potent when the body of Christ works together in love, as it was seen in the early churches in the New Testament.

You can get the book here. Again, I encourage you to read this book because it makes it clear that God moves when the body of Christ is strong and not divided.

God bless,

Dasola
