Hello Amazing Reader,
Welcome to the last week of July! Glory to God for His goodness and kindness to you and your household.
Throughout last week, I was at a Vacation Bible School organized by my church, and it was such a privilege to serve the kids.
In one of the sessions with the kids, we were talking about missionaries and how they take the Good News of Jesus to mostly far away locations. I’m not sure I was prepared for the responses I got from the kids. One of them said, “missionaries do the most important job in the world.” My heart melted.
A child knows that sharing the love of Jesus with others is the most important job in the world? I thought to myself how as an adult I often forget that. Little wonder Jesus talks about us having a child-like heart to enter the kingdom of God. Matthew 18:3 (NIV), “And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Back to my conversation with the kids, the Holy Spirit prompted me to let them know that every child of God is also a missionary. We may not bear the title of one, but in Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus instructs us to go and make disciples of all nations.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
This instruction wasn’t only directed to Jesus’ 11 disciples who had seen Him after His resurrection. It also applies to every child of God.
Will you partner with God to do the most important job in the world?
There will always be people around you who are yet to receive the Good News, and today is a great day to tell them about God’s love. If you think you don’t have the right words, begin by saying, “Jesus loves you,” or share this post with them. Most importantly, continue to pray that the Heavenly Father reveals Himself to them.

Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me; help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus' name. Amen.
