Hello Amazing Reader,
Welcome again to the second-half of 2026. I pray that God perfects all that concerns you and grants you peace all through this second-half in Jesus name.
In the 1nebody community, our challenge for this month is #BuildWithGod, from Psalm 127:1 (NLT):
Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.
Have you tried to achieve a goal in your might? Not because you don’t believe in God, but you think, “I can handle this one, maybe I shouldn’t bother God, after all it’s my area of expertise.” Then you go all out to execute, but nothing seems to work. While thinking back you then realize, “oops, I missed inviting God.”
That has happened to me. In fact, more times than I’m happy to admit. But, every time I paused to invite God, I realized the folly of my attempt. Thank God for His mercies that always delivers me.
Do you have a similar experience of trying to build without God? This second half, I challenge you to choose to “build” with God. You don’t have to build anything alone- your health, finances, marriage, career, family, and so on. Choose to involve God; He wants to help you.
What does building with God look like? It includes acknowledging His presence with you. Asking Him to help you. Laying your plans before Him and asking for His perfect will to be done. It’s in obeying the scriptures. Praying His word. Praying in the Spirit, and so on.
Hebrews 3:4 (NIV) states, “For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.”
It’s wisdom to build with God who knows the end of a thing from it’s beginning. The difference is always evident when you do. There may still be challenges along the way, but your victory is already guaranteed.
Inviting Jesus into your heart is the foundation of building with God. If you are yet to make a decision for Jesus, don’t pass on this opportunity today. You can welcome Jesus to make His place in your heart, and begin to enjoy the benefits of building with God.
Please say this prayer in faith:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus' name. Amen.
