How’s your week been?
In our last meditation post, we shared about Something is Happening, emphasizing the importance of keeping our faith alive even when things seem not to be happening as we desire.
Today’s review is a song, God I look to you, which has a similar theme as our last meditation. Verse 1 says:
God I look to You, I won’t be overwhelmed
Give me vision to see things like You do
God I look to You, You’re where my help comes from
Give me wisdom; You know just what to do
Imagine how victorious your life would be if you saw things the way God did.
You’d always wear a big smile regardless of happenings because you’d know how it’d end.
You’d never be discouraged.
You’d spot distractions from a distance and know how to handle them…
The list is endless and the good news is that this is a possibility. In fact, it’s the way God wants you and I to live. He wants us to see things like He does. He wants to be your help, your wisdom, and everything. If only you’d ask him.
God I look to you isn’t just a song, it’s a prayer worth praying daily.
