Hello Amazing Reader,
Trust your week has started off on a great note.
Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in sharing our meditation post this week.
In the book club community, our prayer focus for October is “Your Valley Shall Be Filled.”
For thus says the Lord: “You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink” 2 Kings 3:17 (NKJV).
For context, the kings of Judah, Israel, and Edom were going to fight against Moab. They decided to go through the Wilderness of Edom as they marched towards Moab. As you’d imagine, they and their animals became thirsty as they travelled through the wilderness. The same people going to battle were already weak and exhausted from thirst.
During this situation, King Jehoshaphat asked, “Is there no prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of the Lord by him?”
One of the servants mentioned about Elijah, who prophetically asked them to make ditches because there was about to be a miracle, but it wasn’t going to be from wind or rain as they expected.
The miracle happened in verse 20, after they offered grain offering, “water came suddenly by the way of Edom, and the land was filled with water.”
It’s about 10 weeks until the end of 2026, and you’re probably wondering if that desire can still come to pass. Can I encourage you to prepare for a miracle? That valley will still be filled with water. It may not come how you expect it, but the year will still end in victory for you. Expect it, believe it, and it’ll happen according to the word of the Lord.
Could you also make it a duty to pray for others in this season? Especially those whom you know are believing God for certain interventions- the salvation of a loved one, breakthrough, deliverance, healing, and so on, tell God about them and ask Him to fill their valleys with water in a most supernatural way.
If you haven’t made Jesus the Lord of your life, you can make that decision today by praying this in faith:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned; please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.
Congratulations, you are now a member of God’s big family! If you said this prayer and would like additional information/guidance, please send an email to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com.
Have a testimony filled week.
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
