Hello Dear One,
Trust your week has started off on a beautiful note. Do you notice how January is speeding by😊 God is awesome!
In our last review, we made reference to Psalm 112:8 – “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.”
But you may be wondering, what does it mean to have your heart fixed? It means to be completely unperturbed by the happenings around you; knowing full well that the word of God will never fail in your life.
However, the journey to having a heart fixed on the Lord begins with faith. When your faith in God is in place, you develop trust in God such that you are no longer shaken by events that seem to negate your positive expectations.
When your heart is fixed concerning any matter, it’s as good as done. Even though you haven’t seen it yet, you trust that God cannot lie and He cannot deny himself. Remember, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God as seen in Hebrews 11.So, as we develop capacity- exposing ourselves to the word of God, our trust level increases and ultimately, we receive answers of peace.
As we go on in the new week, may we be engraced to develop capacity in God’s word, thus increasing our trust levels and ultimately have our hearts permanently fixed on God in Jesus name.
