Hello, 1nebody,
We are almost at the end of another month in 2025, and the first quarter – has God not been good?! Your best is yet to come! The Lord will show Himself mightily in your lives throughout the remaining months of the year, in Jesus name, Amen!
One of the Bible characters I feel sorry for the most has to be Judas Iscariot. Jesus had so many disciples and He selected 12 out of them who He made apostles (Luke6:13-16). For Judas to be among the selected few, the closest to Jesus, means a lot. It means he started well! Once before, his heart was right with God. In Matthew 10 when Jesus sent His disciples out to proclaim the Kingdom of God, healing the sick and raising the dead, Judas was among the vessels the Lord used to bring salvation and deliverance to many.
“Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.”
However, somewhere along the way, he missed it. His story always serves as a reminder for me, it puts me in a conscious state to pray that I will not miss it. I will start and finish well in Jesus name. I strongly believe that when Jesus told the 12 disciples that one of them would betray Him, it was a word of prophecy they should have taken seriously to God in prayer so He could intervene and change such destiny. Sadly, it didn’t matter the miracles Judas performed or the lives he led to Christ, he is known as the disciple who betrayed Jesus. May our work for the Kingdom not be overridden by the wrong things. We will not miss it in Jesus name. We will start and finish well in Jesus name, Amen!
Perhaps like Judas, you have made mistakes and feel disconnected from God or you’ve never really known this God. I want to tell you that He loves you regardless, and He waits patiently for your repentant heart. Please say the prayer below out loud:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned, please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen.
Congratulations, heaven rejoices over you! If you said this prayer and would like additional information/guidance, please send an email to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com.
God bless,
Dasola
