Hello Amazing Reader,
Happy Holy Week!
Holy Week holds the most significant event of the Christian faith. It is the week when Jesus was crucified. Three days later, He resurrected just as He said. This resurrection makes our faith unique and reminds us that our Jesus is alive and reigns forever.
On Sunday, April 13, 2025, Christians all over the world celebrated Palm Sunday, to remember the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem as recorded in Luke 19:28-40 (I encourage you to read these verses).
Here, we saw Jesus riding on a colt as He entered Jerusalem. Those around him threw their clothes over the colt, while some others spread their clothes on the road for the colt to ride on.
As this message was preached at church yesterday, my pastor highlighted some points that were entirely new to me, but the most outstanding for me was the question he asked, “Is Jesus the King of your life?”
Verse 38 of this scripture states,
“Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’
Luke 19:38
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
The crowd was cheering these words, and everyone was excitedly chanting along.
Likewise, maybe you also celebrated Palm Sunday yesterday, and you are looking forward to the Easter celebration this weekend. But have you accepted Jesus as the King of your life? Is He the King over every area of your life? Is His word the final authority in your life?
These are only a few connotations of Jesus being the King of your life. As you ponder on these questions, I encourage you to take the first step by accepting Jesus as the King of your life. Today is your day of salvation. Please say this prayer:
Dear Jesus, I accept you today as my Lord and personal Saviour. I confess that I have sinned, please forgive me. I believe that you died and rose again for me. By your blood, cleanse me from every unrighteousness. Thank you for the new life you have given me, help me to serve you all the days of my life. Ultimately, please help me make it to eternity with you, in Jesus name. Amen
Congratulations, you are now saved! If you’d like to receive additional information about your new faith, and how you can maximize your new life, please reach out to 1nebodyblog@gmail.com. We’d be excited to help.
As we celebrate the death and resurrection of King Jesus this week, please make it a point of duty to tell others about Him. That’s the whole essence of Easter.
Once again, Happy Holy Week!
God’s blessings always,
Dammy
